Introductory Prayer for Each Day
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Amen.
O God, the Shepherd and Ruler of all the faithful, look down in Thy mercy upon Thy servant, Francis, whom Thou hast been pleased to appoint as shepherd over Thy Church. We beseech Thee, grant that by his word and example, he may edify those over whom he is set, and, together with the flock committed to his care, may he attain to everlasting life. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
Jour 1 :
Day 1: For the Personal Sanctity of the Holy Father
Méditation
The office of the Supreme Pontiff is one of immense spiritual weight, demanding a profound union with Our Lord Jesus Christ. The Holy Father, as the Vicar of Christ, must first be a man of deep prayer and personal holiness. His sanctity is the wellspring from which flows the grace to guide the Church. Let us reflect on the immense burden he carries and the necessity of his own spiritual perfection for the good of all souls.

O Jesus, Eternal High Priest, we implore Thee to pour out upon Thy servant, Pope Francis, an ever-increasing measure of Thy grace. Sanctify him in truth, that his heart may be a pure vessel of Thy love. Day 2: For his Apostolic Ministry
Méditation
As the successor of Saint Peter, the Pope is entrusted with the mission to ‘strengthen his brethren’ in the faith. His ministry extends to the ends of the earth, proclaiming the Gospel, administering the Sacraments, and governing the Church. This apostolic work is fraught with challenges and requires divine assistance at every moment. Let us consider the universal scope of his duties and pray that his efforts may bear abundant fruit.

Almighty and everlasting God, Who didst choose Saint Peter to be the rock upon which Thou wouldst build Thy Church, look with favour upon his successor, Pope Francis. Jour 3 :
Day 3: For his Health and Strength
Méditation
The labours of the papacy are demanding, both spiritually and physically. The Holy Father’s well-being is a precious gift to the Church, for it enables him to carry out his arduous duties. We must remember that he, too, is subject to human frailty and the burdens of age. Let us offer our prayers as a spiritual support, asking God to sustain him in body and soul.

O Lord, Who art the physician of our souls and bodies, we commend to Thy loving care the health of our Holy Father, Pope Francis. Grant him strength in his infirmities, solace in his weariness, and renewed vigour to serve Thee and Thy Church. May the Blessed Virgin Mary, Health of the Sick, watch over him and protect him always. Amen.

Day 4: For Wisdom and Prudence in Governance
Méditation
To govern the universal Church requires a wisdom that is not of this world. The Pope must make decisions that affect millions of souls, navigate complex situations, and discern the will of God amidst the clamour of the age. This gift of prudence is a special grace from the Holy Ghost, for which we must earnestly pray.

Grant him the prudence to govern Thy Church with justice and charity, and the fortitude to make difficult decisions for the greater glory of God and the good of the faithful. Amen.

Day 5: For his Love for the Poor
Méditation
Our Lord Jesus Christ showed a particular love for the poor, the suffering, and the outcast. The Holy Father, as His Vicar, is called to reflect this preferential love. His concern for the least of our brethren is a powerful witness to the Gospel. Let us pray that his heart may always burn with Christ’s own compassion for all who are in need.

Day 6: For his Protection against Evil
Méditation
The enemy of our souls ever seeks to attack the Church, and his assaults are often directed with particular vehemence against her visible head on earth. The Pope stands as a sign of contradiction to the world and is in constant need of divine protection from spiritual and physical harm. Our prayers are a spiritual shield for him.

Saint Michael the Archangel, defend our Holy Father in battle. Be his protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray; and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God, cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Protect the Pope from all his enemies, visible and invisible. Amen.
Jour 7 :
Day 7: For his Magisterium
Méditation
The Pope possesses the charism of infallibility when he defines a doctrine concerning faith or morals. In his ordinary teaching, he is the supreme teacher of the Catholic faith, charged with preserving the deposit of faith and handing it on without error. Let us pray that his teaching may always be a clear and faithful echo of the voice of Christ, the Eternal Truth.

O Lord Jesus, the Way, the Truth, and the Life, we pray for our Holy Father, Pope Francis, in his role as supreme teacher. Preserve him from all error, and grant that his teachings may nourish the flock entrusted to him. May his words confirm the faithful, convert sinners, and bring light to those who dwell in darkness. Amen.

Day 8: For the Cause of Christian Unity
Méditation
On the night before He suffered, Our Lord prayed that all His disciples might be one. The division among Christians is a scandal that wounds the Heart of Christ and hinders the proclamation of the Gospel. The Pope, as the successor of Peter, has a special responsibility to work and pray for the restoration of full, visible unity among all who bear the name of Christian.

O Lord Jesus Christ, Who didst say to Thine Apostles: ‘Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you,’ look not on our sins, but on the faith of Thy Church, and graciously grant her peace and unity in accordance with Thy will. Bless the efforts of Thy servant, Pope Francis, to heal the divisions among Christians, that there may be one flock and one shepherd. Amen.

Day 9: For the Intentions of the Holy Father
Méditation
The Holy Father carries in his heart the cares of the entire world and the specific needs of the Church. Each month, he proposes intentions for which all the faithful are invited to pray. In addition to these public intentions, he has his own private needs, burdens, and hopes. On this final day, let us commend all his intentions, known and unknown, to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
