Our Lady of Lourdes: Source of Healing and Hope
In 1858, the Immaculate Conception appeared to Bernadette Soubirous, revealing a spring of living water and calling her to conversion. Praying to Our Lady of Lourdes means entrusting oneself to the protector of the sick and afflicted. This medal illustrates the apparition, reminding us that Mary tirelessly guides us to her Son, Jesus, to offer us consolation and hope in life’s trials. When should you pray the Novena to Our Lady of Lourdes? The novena is traditionally recited to prepare for the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes on February 11th. However, you can begin this nine-day cycle of prayer at any time to ask for a particular grace, seek physical or spiritual healing, or simply to find inner peace. It is a powerful resource during times of doubt or suffering, allowing you to surrender yourself with confidence to Marian intercession.
