Saint Peregrine: Patron Saint of the Sick and of Hope: Saint Peregrine Laziosi is known worldwide as the patron saint of people suffering from cancer, AIDS, and incurable diseases. A member of the Servite Order of Mary in the 14th century, he was himself miraculously cured of a leg tumor after a night of fervent prayer at the foot of the crucifix. His example reminds us that even in the most difficult physical ordeal, faith and perseverance open the door to grace and inner healing. Circumstances for Praying to Saint Peregrine: It is advisable to turn to Saint Peregrine upon receiving a difficult diagnosis or during arduous treatments to ask for strength and courage. He is invoked not only for physical healing, but also to soothe anxiety and strengthen the hope of the sick and their families. Her prayer is a precious support for all those going through the storm of illness, so that they never feel alone in their suffering. French Craftsmanship Quality.
