Day 1: The Strength of Faith
O Our Lady of Strength, refuge of afflicted souls, we turn to You with confidence and humility. On this first day of this novena, we beseech You to strengthen our faith, often shaken by the trials of life. Teach us to see the hand of God at work in every situation, even the most difficult. May Your example of unwavering faith inspire and guide us. Help us to accept the divine will with love and to persevere in hope. Day 2: Courage in Trial
Our Lady of Strength, source of courage and perseverance, we come to implore Your help on this second day of the novena. Faced with the challenges and obstacles that stand in our way, we often feel discouraged and fearful. Obtain for us the grace to find within ourselves the courage necessary to face adversity with confidence and serenity. May Your example of bravery and resilience inspire us to never give up, even when all seems lost. Holy Mary, Mother of Hope, pray for us.
Day 3: Perseverance in Prayer
O Mary, Mother of Strength, on this third day of our novena, we beseech You to teach us perseverance in prayer. In difficult times, it is sometimes tempting to abandon our dialogue with God. Help us to remain faithful to prayer, even when we do not feel His presence. May our prayer be humble, sincere and constant. Obtain for us the grace to persevere in faith and to never cease asking for divine help. Holy Mary, Mother of Grace, pray for us.
Day 4: The Strength of Love
Our Lady of Strength, Mother of love and compassion, on this fourth day of the novena, we pray that You fill us with Your love. May our hearts be open and receptive to divine love and to the love of our neighbor. Help us to forgive those who have hurt us and to love those who are difficult for us to love. May love be the driving force of our actions and thoughts. Holy Mary, Queen of Love, pray for us.
Day 5: Hope in Despair
O Mary, Star of Hope, on this fifth day of the novena, we turn to You in despair. When all seems dark and hopeless, give us the strength to keep hope alive. Remind us that God is always with us and that He will never abandon us. May Your light guide our steps and illuminate our path. Holy Mary, our hope, pray for us.
Day 6: Trust in Divine Providence
Our Lady of Strength, guide and protector, on this sixth day of the novena, we pray that You teach us to trust in Divine Providence. May we be aware that God watches over us and that He cares for us. Let us abandon ourselves with confidence to His will and let Him act in our lives. Holy Mary, Mother of Providence, pray for us.
Day 7: Inner Peace
O Mary, Queen of Peace, on this seventh day of the novena, we beseech You to grant us inner peace. Free us from our anxieties, our fears and our worries. Fill our hearts with serenity and calm. May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard our hearts and our thoughts in Jesus Christ. Holy Mary, Queen of Peace, pray for us.
Day 8: The Strength of Forgiveness
Our Lady of Strength, model of forgiveness and mercy, on this eighth day of the novena, we ask You for the grace to forgive those who have offended us. Free us from bitterness and resentment. Teach us to imitate Your Son, Jesus Christ, who forgave His executioners on the cross. Holy Mary, Mother of Forgiveness, pray for us.
Day 9: The Intercession of Mary
O Our Lady of Strength, powerful and compassionate advocate, on this last day of our novena, we thank You for Your intercession. We entrust all our intentions and our prayers to You. Be our refuge and our consolation in adversity. Guide us to Your Son, Jesus Christ, source of all strength and all grace. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
